Ceramic coating looks finished the moment it's applied, but it isn't fully cured yet. How you treat the vehicle in the first 30 days has a real effect on how the coating bonds and how long it lasts.
Give it time before the first wash
We'll confirm the exact cure window for the product used on your vehicle at pickup — rushing a wash before that window closes can disturb the coating before it's fully hardened.
Switch to pH-neutral, coating-safe products
Regular dish soap or an automatic wash with aggressive detergent can strip a fresh coating's hydrophobic properties well before its rated lifespan. A pH-neutral wash soap and a soft mitt or touchless wash protect the investment.
Watch for water spotting
Coated paint sheets water beautifully, but standing water left to dry under direct sun can still leave mineral spotting. Drying the vehicle after a wash, especially in hard-water conditions, keeps the finish looking as good as the day it was coated.

Ceramic coating protects gloss, UV resistance and ease of cleaning. PPF (paint protection film) is a physical layer that absorbs rock chips and road debris impact. They solve different problems and are often used together.
